Free Motorized Avalanche Awareness @ Basecamp Gallatin

Join Eric Knoff, owner of Six Points Avalanche Education and former GNFAC avalanche forecaster, for a free motorized avalanche awareness talk. This talk will take place at Basecamp in Four Corners from 6:30 to 8 pm on Dec. 5th. Topics covered include recent avalanche statistics, terrain analysis, group communication skills, snowpack stability, and basic avalanche rescue techniques. This is a great opportunity to enjoy an avalanche awareness talk in a small group setting and start your winter by learning more about avalanche safety and mountain awareness.

This class will also include a gear demonstration of an avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe. We will also have a discussion on the use and statistics of airbags.

So grab your riding partners and we’ll see you there 🍻
